General Sealants' Sealants For Vacuum Bagging:
New Methods of Manufacturing Require New Techniques and Training

At the Composites Technology Center at the Cerritos College in Norwalk, California, students study how to lay-up composites with state-of-the-art General Sealants, Incorporated vacuum bag sealants. After auto-claving, the students critique the product's results, ending with favorable comments from all those who participated.

In centers around the country and around the world, such as the Cerritos Technology Center, new manufacturing methodologies for the 21st Century are being developed, new uses for sealants are being discovered, and new requirements for advanced sealant applications are being discussed. Major product manufacturers, such as the aerospace and military aircraft developers before them, want the high strength-to-weight advantages offered by advanced composites technology.
